                            Who was Shawna Nicole Williams?

Shawna was born on June 12, 1986  and passed away suddenly on November 19, 2006. She was a first year college student at Oklahoma State University majoring in Primary Education. She was a shy and sweet young lady who loved life, enjoyed her family, and adored participating in the organizations that meant a lot to her. Shawna worked hard in school to overcome obstacles and become the best she could be.

Shawna graduated from Putnam City North High School  in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma in 2006. She most enjoyed her membership in the Oklahoma City Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. and the 2005 "Fashionetta" self-help and merit scholarship program sponsored by the Beta Sigma Omega, Beta Beta and Kappa Psi Chapters of Alpha Kappa Sorority, Inc. During the "Fashionetta" program, all participants are exposed to months of cultural, social, educational, community-service and self-development activities to assist their transition into college life and adulthood.

Shawna loved The Heavenly Father and it was expressed in the way she lived her life. She enjoyed providing service to others; talking on the phone and spending time with friends. She always helped her mother with entertaining, prepare for dinner, especially during Thanksgiving.  Shawna was a "Bright-Star" to her family. Her purpose for her life was to serve as an  ongoing  messenger for so many children that need a scholarship for higher education.
